Do you have a lot of passwords for your online services and you are fed up of typing them every single time? Wish there was an easy but also secure way to save all of your login credentials and access them with a finger?

FingerAuth Password Manager is a Firefox extension that allows you to access any website that requires a login procedure, just by using your fingerprints.

fa_fingerprintregistration

After you install it and connect a supported fingerprint reader, you can immediately start registering your finger prints.

When this is done, all you need to do left is to create a fingerprint login for a website. Here’s how to do it:

  • Just go on the desired website’s login page, click on the small icon on the right bottom of your screen and select create login.

  • Fill the window fields with your credentials and click OK to link those credentials to your fingerprints.

Now everytime you want to get access on that particular site, or on any other site that you have saved, FingerAuth will display a little box that reminds you that you can actually access that site, and all you’ll have to do in order to access will be to place your finger on your reader and let FingerAuth do the rest: it will recognize your finger, and automatically fill the informations that the site requires for you to login.

You can also manage, edit and delete the saved logins at anytime, just by visiting the page, and selecting Fingerprint Login Manager: this will open up a windows in which you can edit the credentials, add new ones, and also delete existing data.

FingerAuth Password Manager has a free trial version, which allows you to use all the function for one website at a time. If you want to get more sites saved, you’ll have to buy the pro version, which comes at just $30, and I would say it is a good price since it will make it easier for you not to remember and type your username and password all the time.

I tried it with a Microsoft Finger Print Reader, and since I have been testing it, it has always responded well, but you can also check the complete list of the supported readers.
