Split Browser is a small Firefox add-on (just 95 KB) that you can use to split the content area of the browser window as you like, in as many parts as you want.

If you want to compare multiple sites, keep your email inbox always visible, or to have a search engine showing up on every window, this is a must-have add-on for you.

Many are the ways in which Split Browser can tile all of your opened tabs:

  1. Choose the “Split Current Tab to” menu in the context menu.

  3. Choose the “Load in Split Browser” menu in the context menu on link.

  5. Click one of the popup-buttons that appear on top/bottom/left/right edges of the content area.

  7. Drag&Drop links, bookmarks, etc. to on the top/bottom/left/right edges of the content area to open them in a new split area.

With a single click you can also expand, collapse, and close all the split browsers, tile all open tabs horizontally and vertically, synchronize the scrolling of split areas to the main window.

Status of split browsers are automatically saved and restored on the next startup.
