DownThemAll is a free open-source Firefox add-on that speeds up your downloads by splitting the file in multiple parts while downloading it.

It fully integrates into Firefox’s menus and toolbars: in fact it can be accessed by right-clicking on any webpage, from ‘tools menu’, or simply by adding a small handy icon to your toolbar.

DownThemAll is much more than a normal download manager, allowing you to personalize and optimize your downloads.
Here the details:
- You can right click any link and download it with increased speed: it splits files into multiple sections, which are downloaded simultaneously, maximizing use of bandwidth, increasing average download speed up to 400%.
- You can download ALL of the links that you see on a web-page with a single click: DTA ‘Select links’ window lists every single link, image or embed object contained in a webpage: you simply select the files that you need and you’ll be ready to start.
- All files downloaded by DTA can be easily auto-renamed according to your personal needs using specific filters. There are plenty of tags you can use to build destination filenames and directories, including: date and time of download, website URL, link description and more.
- You can pause and resume downloads.
- It also presents a really detailed preference menu, in which you can set how DTA should treat files with the same name, how many parts a file should be slit into while downloading, how DTA integrates in Firefox, contemporary downloads allowed, and much more.

DownThemAll is completely free to use, and you can download it and install it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/201
